A downloadable game for Windows

Goodday respectable Lady / Gent Reader!

Have You ever had a cool idea for a game and thought about developing / making / creating / materializing / any-other-synonym-for-transporting-an-idea-out-of-your-head-and-into-a-product (haha) a video game? Have You wanted to start, but lacked motivation or didn't know where to begin? If the answer is “yes” to both of these questions, then please download and open the zip file attached. Run around for 3-5 minutes and then come back to read the rest of the text.

Okay, now that You’ve done the step above, what are Your thoughts? I will list three alternatives and reply to each one. (Obviously there are many more, but I think most will fall into of these three categories.)

After realizing that this discussion stretches for more than 2 pages, I’ve decided to attach a PDF file, instead of copy-pasting a wall of text.

(Also, I am aware of most of the bugs, like footstep sounds lagging behind, buttons in “Options” not really working properly, clipping issues, etc. I’ve chosen to ignore them for this particular project for the sake of saving some time, since I am going to make deep-dives into these problems in my next project anyway.)

P.S. The project is only available for Win-64 based users. This is my first project on itch.io and my first "published" project in Unreal 4, so I'm still figuring out how to upload stuff. So, sorry to all Linux and Mac users :,c(  .

Cheers!
